Privacy Policy
How Quantum Economics GmbH collects, processes, and protects personal data — in accordance with the Swiss nFADP and the EU GDPR.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for the processing of personal data on this website is Quantum Economics GmbH, Josefstrasse 219, 8005 Zürich, Switzerland. For any privacy-related inquiries, please contact us at contact@quantecon.ai.
2. Legal Framework
We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP). Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies — for example, when we offer services to persons in the European Union — we also comply with its requirements.
3. Data We Collect
Contact form: when you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, subject, and message. We use this data solely to respond to your inquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Server logs: our hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as IP address, browser type, and access times to deliver the website securely. This data is not merged with other data sources.
4. Email Delivery
Messages submitted through our contact form are transmitted to us via the email delivery service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA). Your form data is processed by Resend solely for the purpose of delivering your message to us. Data may be transferred to the United States; such transfers are safeguarded by standard contractual clauses.
5. Hosting and Analytics
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). Vercel processes technical access data to operate the website. We use Vercel Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service that does not use cookies and does not track individual visitors across websites.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal data from contact inquiries only as long as necessary to process your request or as required by law. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to request information about the personal data we hold about you, to request rectification or deletion, to object to processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. If you are located in the EU/EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Switzerland, the competent authority is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@quantecon.ai.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
